  Pashinyan, Karapetyan exchange harsh remarks April 8, 2026 - 13:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted a video on his Facebook page addressing calls directed at him. “Kaluga-based Samvel, through his spokespersons, urges me not to be afraid. But how can I not be afraid? I fear that by the end of the year you may go from a billionaire to a homeless person,” he said. He was responded to by Narek Karapetyan, a member of the council of the Strong Armenia party. “This is what happens when a person who is homeless in spirit becomes prime minister. Is this, for example, the speech of a prime minister?” Karapetyan stated. Earlier, addressing Pashinyan, Narek Karapetyan had said: “Be a man, don’t be afraid of Samvel Karapetyan; once he comes out, he has a few things to tell you.”   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
