  Lake Sevan level may rise up to 45 cm April 10, 2026 - 19:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lake Sevan’s water level is expected to rise by 40–45 centimeters between April and July, said Levon Azizyan, head of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center. He added that by December 31, 2026, the lake’s level is projected to reach 1900.30–1900.35 meters, which is 8–13 cm higher compared to January 1, 2026, according to 1lurer.am . Azizyan also presented projections for the maximum filling levels of five major reservoirs in 2026. According to the forecast, Akhuryan reservoir is expected to reach 100% capacity, Arpi reservoir 80–85%, Aparan reservoir 82–88%, while Azat and Mamarik reservoirs are also expected to reach 100% capacity. According to Azizyan, if the forecast materializes, reservoir levels will reach their highest point in the past 15 years, since 2011.
