Civil Contract submits list of 283 candidates![]() April 15, 2026 - 19:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party has become the first political force to submit its electoral list for the June 7 parliamentary elections. Representatives of the Civil Contract party — Arayik Harutyunyan, Vahagn Aleksanyan, and Arusyak Julhakyan — submitted the party’s electoral list to the Central Election Commission, along with other documents required by law. According to Panorama.am , Civil Contract is the first political force to present its list to the CEC. Speaking to journalists, Civil Contract’s campaign headquarters chief Arayik Harutyunyan said the list includes 283 candidates, with all required documents uploaded in advance to the electronic system. “I am confident we will solve the task; our recent interactions with the public show that we have such an opportunity,” Harutyunyan stated. According to the CEC-approved schedule, registration of electoral lists of parties and alliances will take place from April 23 to May 3 until 6:00 p.m. The election campaign is scheduled to begin on May 8 and continue until June 5 at 24:00. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
