Pashinyan says “war party” must not enter parliament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said recent parliamentary discussions have significantly reshaped Armenia’s domestic political and pre-election agenda.

Speaking live, he stated that over the past three days the agenda has shifted toward the view that the so-called “war” and “former authorities’ three-party alliance” should not pass the electoral threshold to enter parliament.

According to him, investigative findings revealed that these forces referred to their own supporters using derogatory terms such as “dogs, jackals, and bosha,” which, he argued, makes it unacceptable for voters to support them.

Pashinyan added that believing citizens would accept such insults would amount to disrespect toward the people of Armenia.

He called on voters to express their stance at the ballot box, branding those political forces accordingly and removing them from the country’s internal political life by denying them representation in parliament.

“This is the updated political agenda. Thank you, I love you all,” Pashinyan concluded.

Parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 7, 2026.
