Probe opened into clash near Anti-Corruption Court

PanARMENIAN.Net - A criminal case has been initiated following an incident involving supporters of the Strong Armenia party near the Anti-Corruption Court building on April 17.

According to Armenia’s Investigative Committee, the proceedings were launched on charges of hooliganism committed by a group and obstruction of a public official’s lawful duties, as reported by 1lurer.am .

During the preliminary investigation, law enforcement officers detained 17 individuals.

Necessary investigative and procedural actions are currently underway.

On April 17, during a march along Tbilisi Highway, a scuffle broke out between supporters of Samvel Karapetyan and police officers. Toward the end of the march, law enforcement demanded that participants leave the roadway and continue along the sidewalk.
