Armenia joins CIS foreign ministers' council session

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan participated in the regular session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

During the meeting, heads of delegations discussed issues related to cooperation within the CIS framework and exchanged views on regional developments.

Among other topics, Safaryan referred to the ceremonial launch held on April 16 of the “Meghri as the CIS Cultural Capital 2026” project.

He noted that a number of cultural events are planned throughout the year as part of this initiative.
