Tbilisi to host Armenian Genocide commemoration![]() April 18, 2026 - 13:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A commemorative ceremony dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide victims will be held in Tbilisi on April 24. The Armenian Embassy in Georgia will organize a wreath-laying and memorial event at 11:00. The ceremony will take place at the Pantheon of Armenian writers and public figures in Tbilisi, near the khachkar commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
