RPA spokesman opposes formation of new fact-finding group

PanARMENIAN.Net - The fact-finding group on March 2008 events was formed for a impartial investigation but the results were quite the opposite, said a spokesman for the Republican Party of Armenia.

"The ruling party would like the group members not to exceed their commission," Eduard Sharmazanov told a news conference today. "Personally I stand against formation of a new group of experts, since it can engage in political gambling like the first one."

He also said that despite certain forces' forecasts, the first group did not become a marionette in the leadership's hands.
