PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, together with the clergy of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on April 24 to take part in commemorations of the holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

The Catholicos laid a wreath at the memorial, after which an intercessory service for the martyrs was conducted at the eternal flame, Armenpress reported.

In his message marking the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Catholicos said that April 24 is a day of vow, “interwoven with the claims of our worldwide Armenian people, which are free from hostility and hatred and aimed at restoring justice and truth and preventing the denial of the genocide.”
