Armenian border guards study U.S. border operations![]() April 27, 2026 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of Armenia’s Border Guard Service visited the United States to study border protection systems and discuss expanding cooperation. The visit took place as part of the U.S. Embassy program in Armenia on Export Control and Border Security. Armenian officials met with partners from the U.S. Department of State and Customs and Border Protection to review ongoing collaboration, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia reported. During their stay, the delegation visited Washington, D.C., as well as El Paso and Artesia. They observed the work of U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the U.S.-Mexico border and also visited the Border Patrol Academy. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
