Four Strong Armenia supporters detained

PanARMENIAN.Net - Four supporters of the Strong Armenia party have been detained, Armenpress reports.

According to Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee, joint investigative measures and searches with the National Security Service uncovered evidence that a party supporter allegedly promised employment and other benefits to voters in exchange for votes in favor of the party in the upcoming June 7, 2026 parliamentary elections.

The committee stated that a criminal case has been initiated under relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and public criminal prosecution has been launched against four individuals, who have been detained.

The Anti-Corruption Committee has also released audio recordings related to the case.

Earlier, it was reported that party member Artur Avanesyan had also been detained.
