Armenian, French FMs meet in Paris

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot, during a meeting in Paris, expressed satisfaction with the selection and official opening of the new premises of Armenia’s diplomatic mission, calling it a strong sign of deepening bilateral partnership.

The ministers discussed steps aimed at advancing the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, emphasizing the importance of French President Emmanuel Macron’s upcoming visit to Yerevan.

They also reviewed upcoming cooperation programs in key sectors.

The meeting addressed issues related to expanding Armenia–EU partnership and strengthening cooperation in enhancing democratic resilience.

The sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Earlier, Mirzoyan said that within a week a long-negotiated document with France would be signed.
