Yerevan reaffirms commitment to nuclear treaty

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s delegation at the United Nations reaffirmed the country’s firm commitment to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons during the general debate of its 11th Review Conference, emphasizing the importance of taking practical steps to advance disarmament initiatives and reduce the risks of nuclear confrontation.

The delegation also highlighted the significant role of the International Atomic Energy Agency in promoting international cooperation in the field of nuclear safety, according to Armenia’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
