Armenia, U.S. discuss TRIPP implementation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Coulter discussed ongoing work and future steps related to the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project during a meeting in Yerevan.

The sides welcomed the Washington agreements and pointed to the tangible results of cooperation carried out within their framework.

They also exchanged views on other issues of bilateral interest.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed in Washington a document on joint Armenia-U.S. cooperation within the framework of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) program.

The published document on TRIPP implementation describes the operational framework of the initiative. The framework does not create and is not intended to create legal commitments or obligations for Armenia or the U.S.
