Searches target Strong Armenia office

PanARMENIAN.Net - Authorities are conducting searches at multiple addresses in the Ani community of Armenia’s Shirak region. Law enforcement officers are also searching the Maralik territorial office of the Strong Armenia party, the Anti-Corruption Committee said, according to 1lurer.am .

“The investigative actions at the mentioned addresses are being carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings launched by the Anti-Corruption Committee on charges of giving and receiving electoral bribes, as well as several other articles of the Criminal Code. Additional information will be provided if necessary,” the committee said.

According to Factor.am , several people have been detained and arrested.

The election campaign launched on May 8 will continue until June 5. June 6 will be a day of silence, and elections will be held on June 7.
