Authorities clarify out-of-town voting rules

PanARMENIAN.Net - If a citizen will not be present at their registered address on election day and plans to stay in another community, they may submit an application to the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Interior Ministry by 2:00 p.m. on May 26, Armenia’s Central Election Commission said.

“These applications should not be sent to the Central Election Commission, since we are unable to process them under the established procedure.

We once again remind citizens that voter lists are maintained by the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Interior Ministry.

The relevant application form must be completed and submitted to the Migration and Citizenship Service. Applications may be filed both in paper form and electronically through the platform,” the statement said.

The election campaign, launched on May 8, will continue until June 5. June 6 will be observed as a day of silence, while elections are scheduled for June 7.
