Armenia to discuss social media limits for minors![]() May 14, 2026 - 15:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The public council attached to Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports will address a proposal to restrict access to social networks for children under the age of 16 during its May 15 session. The meeting will take place at 4:00 p.m. The agenda includes one issue — the presentation of the proposal concerning restrictions on social media access for children under 16. Education Minister Zhanna Andreasyan will deliver opening remarks, while Deputy Minister Araksia Svajyan will present the issue. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
