  Armenia, Netherlands discuss defense cooperation May 21, 2026 - 13:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan, Netherlands Ambassador to Armenia Marieke Monroy-Winter and newly appointed defense attaché Lieutenant Colonel Aalert Gherald Huybrechts discussed prospects for defense cooperation. The deputy minister congratulated the defense attaché on his appointment and wished him success in his future work. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the current course of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and the Netherlands in the defense sphere, as well as topics connected to multilateral cooperation with NATO and the European Union. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
