Armenian, U.S. officials discuss bilateral cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan held a meeting with U.S. Congress member Robert Aderholt, during which the parties discussed key areas of the Armenia-U.S. bilateral agenda and opportunities to deepen ongoing cooperation.

The sides emphasized the importance of the consistent development of relations and highlighted readiness to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of strengthening partnership ties between the two countries, Armenia’s embassy in the United States reported.

U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia David Allen earlier said that the deployment of U.S. Peace Corps volunteers to Armenia’s Syunik region is not directly connected to the TRIPP project, though it reflects American confidence in the peace process.
