Armenia reaffirms commitment to EAEU cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia intends to continue participating in the work of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in good faith, based on mutual respect, equal partnership and consideration of the national interests of all member states, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said during the EAEU summit in its expanded format, according to Radar Armenia.

“We have repeatedly reaffirmed our commitment to mutually beneficial cooperation within the EAEU for the benefit of our countries and to ensure economic stability and development throughout our region,” Grigoryan said.

Asked about Grigoryan’s attitude during the meeting, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that “he understands everything perfectly,” RIA Novosti reported.

“I think he is a positive, normal, and intelligent person. He understands everything perfectly,” Ushakov said.

Earlier, Ushakov announced that EAEU leaders had adopted a statement concerning Armenia. He added that the text of the declaration would be published at a later date.
