Zelenskyy urges stronger European support for Armenia![]() June 4, 2026 - 11:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on Europe to provide greater support to countries, including Armenia, whose freedom he says is being constrained by Russia. He made the remarks in a post following a meeting with Oleh Ivashchenko, head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Armenpress reported. Zelenskyy stressed that the issue goes beyond a particular political choice. “We believe that Europe should provide significantly greater support to every nation that Russia has gripped tightly and is trying not to let move toward freedom. This is particularly relevant for Armenia ahead of the elections in that country. This is not simply a matter of one political choice or another. It concerns the fundamental right of people to choose their own future. Europe possesses the necessary capabilities to uphold the fundamental rules that have always worked and will continue to work in support of security,” his post said.
