Kocharyan says Pashinyan starts new adventure![]() June 4, 2026 - 14:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has “embarked on another adventure with renewed vigor,” former Armenian President and Hayastan alliance prime ministerial candidate Robert Kocharyan said during the election campaign, commenting on the government’s foreign policy and its potential consequences. “Pashinyan is consistently trying to damage our relations with Russia. Apparently, the goal is to please someone in Brussels,” he said, according to Panorama.am . Kocharyan stressed that Armenia wants to maintain good relations with Washington, Brussels, and Moscow, and that this is entirely achievable. “We managed to do that even under very complicated geopolitical conditions. What Nikol Pashinyan is doing today will deal a massive blow to our agriculture. He does not understand agriculture. He is a major consumer of agricultural products himself — he eats and eats. I have nicknamed him a ‘table combine harvester.’ When are you finally going to be full?” Kocharyan said. The election campaign that began on May 8 will continue until June 5. June 6 will be a day of silence, and elections will be held on June 7. On May 25, it became known that the Alliance Progressive Centrist Party had submitted a withdrawal application, based on which the Central Electoral Commission invalidated the registration of the party’s electoral list. As a result, ballot paper number 13 will not be included in the upcoming elections. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
