Voter turnout tops 14% by 11 am

PanARMENIAN.Net - By 11:00 a.m., 362,657 voters had cast their ballots in the National Assembly elections, according to data published by the Central Election Commission.

This represents 14.48% of the total number of registered voters.

At the same time in previous elections, turnout figures were as follows: 344,716 voters in 2017 (13.31%), 201,252 voters in 2018 (7.75%), and 316,289 voters in 2021 (12.21%), Radar Armenia reported.

As a result, turnout in the 2026 elections by 11:00 a.m. has exceeded the figures recorded at the same time in 2017, 2018, and 2021.

The regular National Assembly elections have begun in Armenia. The country's 2,005 polling stations opened at 8:00 a.m. The voter register includes 2,485,851 eligible voters. Polling stations will remain open until 8:00 p.m.

A total of 18 political forces are participating in the parliamentary elections: two party alliances and 16 individual parties. The electoral threshold is 4% for parties and 8% for alliances.
