Zelenskyy congratulates Pashinyan on election victory

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of the Civil Contract party in the parliamentary elections. He announced this in a post on X.

Zelenskyy stated that the time has come for the European Union to provide real support to Armenia.

“Congratulations to Armenia on holding democratic and free elections, and to Nikol Pashinyan on his victory. This is also a victory for Armenia’s sovereignty, your independence, and your right to live as you choose. We wish you success.

Ukraine is ready to expand our cooperation, and now is the time for the European Union to provide real support to Armenia and do everything necessary so that people feel their lives are improving thanks to relations with Europe. This is a test for the European Union. It is important not to lose time and opportunities,” he wrote.

According to the latest preliminary results, votes were distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825%, Strong Armenia — 23.281%, Armenia Alliance — 9.934%, and Prosperous Armenia — 3.996%. Under these updated figures, the Prosperous Armenia Party does not clear the 4% electoral threshold required for parliamentary representation.
