CEC outlines procedures for recount applications![]() June 8, 2026 - 13:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An application for a recount of voting results at a polling station may be submitted to the relevant Territorial Electoral Commission on June 8 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or on June 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission announced. The right to request a recount belongs to a candidate included in an electoral list, an authorized representative, or a member of a precinct electoral commission. “Within the same deadlines, an application to declare the voting results at a polling station invalid may also be submitted to the relevant Territorial Electoral Commission by a party, an alliance of parties, a candidate included in an electoral list, an authorized representative, or a member of the corresponding precinct electoral commission,” the statement said. The Central Electoral Commission also reported that the total number of voters registered on electoral rolls was 2,507,216, while the total number of participants in the vote was 1,477,736, representing a turnout of 58.94%.
