Kremlin awaits final Armenia election results

PanARMENIAN.Net - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow is waiting for the publication of the final results of Armenia’s parliamentary elections and is closely monitoring all information emerging about the vote.

“We are waiting for the final results. Until then, we are carefully recording all reports that appear regarding these elections. This includes reports about numerous violations alleged to have occurred during the voting process,” Peskov said, according to RIA Novosti.

He did not elaborate on specific allegations but noted that the Kremlin is paying close attention to developments surrounding the election and the information being made public.

According to the preliminary results of the June 7 National Assembly elections, the vote distribution was as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825%, Strong Armenia — 23.281%, Armenia Alliance — 9.934%, and Prosperous Armenia — 3.996%. Under these updated figures, the Prosperous Armenia Party does not clear the 4% electoral threshold required for parliamentary representation.
