Pashinyan congratulates Putin on Russia Day

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia Day.

“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

Please accept my congratulations on the national holiday of the Russian Federation — Russia Day.

This significant holiday embodies the responsibility of the citizens of the Russian Federation for the future of their country, as well as the aspiration of the friendly Russian people to independently choose the path of their state's development.

I am confident that the multifaceted ties between the peoples of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, as well as the mutual readiness for open and constructive dialogue based on respect for each other’s sovereignty and state interests, will continue to contribute to strengthening cooperation and making full use of the opportunities for collaboration between our countries.

I wish you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, well-being and success in your state activities, and I wish the people of Russia prosperity and every good fortune,” the message states.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan, leader of the Civil Contract party, which won a majority in Armenia’s National Assembly elections.
