Anti-Corruption Committee reports alleged vote-buying case![]() June 13, 2026 - 15:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As a result of measures carried out by officers of Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee, factual information was obtained indicating that representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party allegedly provided election bribes to voters in the Akhtala community of Lori Province and nearby areas. According to the committee, the payments were allegedly offered in exchange for voting in favor of the party in the National Assembly elections and for recruiting additional supporters. A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee in connection with the case. Several individuals have been detained, and the necessary procedural actions have been carried out. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
