Armenian boxer reaches European Grand Prix semifinals

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian boxer David Chaloyan has secured at least a bronze medal at the European Cup Grand Prix and continues his campaign for a higher result, according to the Boxing Federation of Armenia.

The World Championship bronze medalist claimed a convincing victory over Germany’s Delil Yazgan in the quarterfinals. Chaloyan held a clear advantage throughout all rounds and won by unanimous decision.

Having reached the semifinals, Chaloyan will now face England’s Achushi Clinton for a place in the final. Clinton advanced after defeating Paris Olympic Games medalist Aboudou Jamili in the quarterfinals.
