  Senior officials attend Eagle Partner 2026 exercise June 25, 2026 - 13:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Senior civilian leaders and military officials from Armenia, the U.S., France, and Greece observed the ongoing Eagle Partner 2026 exercise in Armenia, alongside foreign military attachés and representatives accredited to the country, according to the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. Those in attendance included U.S. Chargé d'Affaires ad interim David Allen, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies, Greek Ambassador to Armenia Christos Sofianopoulos, Kansas National Guard Brigadier General Jason Knob, Colonel Paul Corten, Chief of Staff for Land Operations in Europe, and other senior officials. The joint exercise was held to prepare participating forces for international peacekeeping missions and highlighted the continuing defense cooperation between Armenia and its partner countries. The Eagle Partner 2026 exercise is being held from June 17 to 25. It involves 250 personnel from the Armenian Armed Forces Peacekeeping Brigade, 58 service members from U.S. Army Europe and Africa and the Kansas National Guard, 24 personnel from France, and 11 from Greece. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
