Deputy PM joins EDB annual board meeting![]() June 25, 2026 - 13:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated remotely in the annual meeting of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Council. During the session, the Council discussed and approved a number of decisions. These included the Bank's 2025 annual and financial statements, the decision on profit distribution, the appointment of the external auditor for 2026, and matters related to the implementation of the Bank's 2022–2026 strategy. The Council also approved the Bank's development strategy for 2027–2031. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision. Kerobyan has said that for the first time in the history of Armenia, the volume of foreign direct investments amounted to about $1 billion. Partner news |
