Traffic rules change on Papazyan, Khanjyan streets![]() June 29, 2026 - 18:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Beginning June 30, traffic regulations will change on Vahram Papazyan Street. Specifically, vehicle stopping will be prohibited along the section from the Komitas Avenue–Vahram Papazyan Street intersection to the Vahram Papazyan–Aram Khachaturian Street intersection, except in designated road widening areas, the Yerevan Municipality announced. Traffic regulations will also change on Khanjyan Street from June 30. On the section between the Buzand Street–Khanjyan Street intersection and the Khanjyan Street–Tchaikovsky Street intersection, stopping will be prohibited for all vehicles, except within the designated parking area reserved for mobile street vendors. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
