Armenia values ties with Canada, says Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the occasion of Canada Day, stressing that Armenia places great importance on developing its friendly relations with Canada.

"I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Canada on the occasion of Canada Day. It was a great honor to welcome you to Yerevan in May during the 8th Summit of the European Political Community.

I look back with satisfaction on our meeting, which provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the Armenia-Canada cooperation agenda and identify directions for its further development. I am confident that this positive dialogue will provide fresh momentum for deepening the partnership between our two countries.

Armenia highly values the continued development of its friendly relations with Canada, based on democracy, human rights, the rule of law and mutual respect. I am confident that through our joint efforts we will further expand and strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our two countries and peoples. I wish you good health and every success, and I wish the friendly people of Canada peace and prosperity," the message said.
