  Pashinyan to attend Khamenei funeral July 2, 2026 - 19:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to Iran on July 3 to attend the funeral ceremony of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. He confirmed the visit during a briefing with journalists in response to a question from Armenpress, according to the agency. "Yes, I will leave tomorrow and return the same day. Naturally, meetings with the Iranian leadership are planned," Pashinyan said, confirming earlier reports in the Iranian media. Iranian media had previously reported that senior officials from a number of countries would attend the farewell and funeral ceremonies for Ali Khamenei. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
