Armenia, Indonesia discuss economic cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with Indonesian Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita on July 6 during the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition in Russia.

The talks focused on expanding trade, economic, and business cooperation between Armenia and Indonesia, promoting industrial development, technology exchange and strengthening partnerships in high value-added manufacturing sectors.

Papoyan proposed exploring opportunities for cooperation in the development of industrial zones, the implementation of investment projects and the establishment of joint manufacturing initiatives.

The two sides also discussed the Armenian government's Crossroads of Peace initiative, noting that its implementation could strengthen regional connectivity, facilitate cargo transportation and create new opportunities for trade, investment and industrial cooperation.
