CEC revokes registration of 106 candidates

PanARMENIAN.Net - At its regular meeting on July 8, Armenia's Central Election Commission (CEC) revoked the registration of 106 parliamentary candidates who had been included on the electoral list of the Strong Armenia alliance for the June 7, 2026 parliamentary elections.

The CEC said the relevant applications had been submitted in accordance with the procedures established by law and were notarized.

Armenia's Constitutional Court rejected the lawsuit filed by seven political forces. Under the final election results, the Civil Contract party won 64 seats, the Strong Armenia alliance secured 29 seats, and the Hayastan alliance obtained 12 seats in parliament.
