Baku says peace deal awaits RA Constitution changes

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan has completed its work on finalizing the peace agreement with Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

He added that the peace treaty could be signed after amendments are made to Armenia's Constitution, APA reported.

"The text of the peace agreement has already been initialled and is publicly available. Azerbaijan's position on this issue is principled. President Ilham Aliyev has presented the state's official position. We expect references containing territorial claims against Azerbaijan to be removed from Armenia's Constitution. After that, the peace agreement can be signed," Bayramov said.
