Strong Armenia reallocates non-elected candidates

PanARMENIAN.Net - Candidates on the Strong Armenia alliance's electoral list who did not secure electable positions will instead contribute to the party's organizational development, according to a statement issued by the alliance.

"Through this approach, the alliance also protects members who did not occupy electable positions by reducing the risk of possible new pressure from the authorities," the statement said.

At its regular meeting on July 8, Armenia's Central Electoral Commission annulled the registration of 106 parliamentary candidates from the Strong Armenia alliance's electoral list for the June 7, 2026 National Assembly elections.
