Competing in the 65 kg weight class, Hayrapetyan edged his Azerbaijani opponent 6-5 in the semifinal to secure a shot at the European title. In the 79 kg division, Narek Nikoghosyan will wrestle for the bronze medal on July 11. Sasha Petrosyan (57 kg) and Hakob Hakobyan (97 kg) remain in contention through the repechage rounds, while Davit Davtyan, competing at 70 kg, has completed his campaign at the championship. Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28. Armenian gymnast, Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan has reached the finals of the World Cup. Gor Manvelyan has denied reports alleging that he has expressed a desire to one day play for the French national team.
