Petrosyan: ENA pays 12.6 billion drams in taxes![]() July 21, 2026 - 18:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) paid approximately 12.6 billion Armenian drams in taxes and duties to the state budget during the first half of the current year, according to Romanos Petrosyan, the company's interim manager. In a Facebook post, Petrosyan said the figure is about 62% higher than the payments made during the same period in 2025. "During the same period last year, before the Public Services Regulatory Commission initiated administrative proceedings against ENA, total payments to the state budget amounted to approximately 7.8 billion Armenian drams," Petrosyan wrote. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision. Kerobyan has said that for the first time in the history of Armenia, the volume of foreign direct investments amounted to about $1 billion. Partner news |
