By the decision of late prime minister of Armenia Andranik Margaryan 185 million drams have been allocated from the state budget for repair works, Hovhannes Zatikyan, director of the museum told a press conference today. According to him, restoration of the museum exhibition hall (the total area of 600 sq. meters) cost 20 million AMD, 10 million out of which were provided by Vivacell-MTS. 2500 trees were planted in the yard of the museum. It is projected to furnish a hall for 200 people. "After renovation is completed the museum of Abovian will open a branch of the Faculty of museology of the Yerevan State Pedagogical University," Hovhannes Zatikyan said.
