After negotiations which lasted about half an hour, NKR President said that the meeting had focused on Karabakh settlement process. "We introduced our approaches to OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and stressed the importance of involving Karabakh in negotiation process. We also asked her to take all possible steps within her competency to ensure Stepanakert's participation in the talks," Mr. Sahakyan told journalists. During negotiations, he said, parties also stressed the importance of Azerbaijan's ceasing fire operations and withdrawing snipers from contact line.NKR President stressed Dora Bakoyannis' optimistic attitude towards negotiation process. "After Armenian and Azeri Presidents' meeting we expect Azerbaijan to renounce its current policy and demonstrate a constructive approach to the talks," he said.
