Karabakh will participate in NKR conflict settlement negotiations

PanARMENIAN.Net - MG OSCE CO-Chairs believe Karabakh will participate in NKR conflict settlement negotiations, MG OSCE Russian Co-Chair Yuri Merzlyakov told a news conference in Yerevan. According to him, this will happen upon coordination of Madrid principles, to be followed in the cource of negotiations.

Commenting on Ilham Aliyev's statement on the impossibility of separating NKR from Azerbaijan, the Russian diplomat noted that it would be strange to expect some other declaration from Azeri President, adding that NKR settlement issue is a lengthy one.

In his turn, Bernard Fassier emphasized that MG OSCE does not intend to comment on presidential statements. "I must say that public statements do not always agree with the realities of negotiation process," the French diplomat said.
