ROBERT KOCHARIAN AND MIKHAIL KASIANOV DISCUSSED ISSUE ON PAYING OFF DEBTS TROUGH TRANSFER OF ARMENIAN ENTERPRISES' SHARES TO RUSSIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday in Moscow Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with Russian premier Mikhail Kasianov. The Armenian side participating in the talks included finance minister Vartan Khachatrian and the Russian side included "EES Russia" RAO president Anatoli Chubais. In the course of the meeting, the measures to develop trade, economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed. It is assumed that the issues regarding the transfer of the shares of some Armenian enterprises to Russia for repayment of the Armenian state debt to Russia as well as the issue on possible participation of Russian companies in the tender for taking of the energy distributing nets for management were also spoken about.
