Armenian, Azeri NGO meeting postponed to autumn

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian-Azerbaijani Public Forum scheduled for late June in Moscow was postponed to autumn.

"There is an impression that the talks on resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict are being intensified. But this can originate public fears and tensions," International Alert Projects Director Eurasia Program, Mrs. Dessislava Roussanova told PanARMENIAN.Net

"We can't allow politicization of public dialogue. That is why we decided to postpone the event," she said.

Meanwhile, Moscow will host discussions on peacekeeping strategy in Eurasia from July 23 to 25. The event participants will focus on Georgian-Russian dialogue and South Caucasus issues.
