LA hosts fundraising telethonJuly 21, 2009 - 19:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A fundraising telethon was held in Los Angeles on July 19 in the air of three local Armenian TV channels - Horizon, AABC and Hayvision.The funds will be allocated to 20 schools of Glendale and nearby cities to help maintenance of Armenian identity, including publication of textbooks for more than 1000 pupils. The Armenian Ministry of Diaspora assigned $5000 for the purpose.
