US organizes Armenian-Turkish youth camp in TurkeyJuly 22, 2009 - 22:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - By the assistance of US Embassy in Turkey, students from Turkey, Armenia and US have gathered in a summer camp in Chanakalle. United States has organized the camp for enabling Armenian and Turkish children to better know one another by communicating and playing together, said Sharon Anderholm Wiener, US Consul General in Istanbul. The camp in Chanakkale has brought together 15 Armenians, 10 Americans and 19 Turks, Turkish Milliyet newspaper reports.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
