President satisfied with ADB-Armenia cooperationJuly 23, 2009 - 16:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzh Sargsyan has today received Vice President of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Khiano Jao and his delegation, RA President's press service reports.Expressing satisfaction with the rapid paces of mutual cooperation, President noted the Bank's interest in large-scale transport projects, such as North-South highway and railway construction, as well as programs aimed at the development of Yerevan's transport network. President also expressed his gratitude to ADB for allocating $ 80 million to Armenia for overcoming global crisis impact. Jao in turn expressed interest in developing long-term partnership with Armenia. Highly assessing cooperation between ADB and RA Government, he also expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of programs aimed at reconstructing rural roads and installing water supply systems. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
