Serzh Sargsyan: there is no universal tool for conflict resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - All regional conflicts should be resolved without application of force and by peaceful means, through negotiations, in accordance with the rules and principles of international law, RA president Serzh Sargsyan told a press conference, organized jointly with the President of Serbia Boris Tadic in Yerevan.

"We are confident there is no universal method to resolve conflicts. Every conflict has its history, causes, and its own development. It is impossible to find a fair solution without taking into account all this," the President of Armenia stressed.

For his part, President Tadic mentioned that he respects and appreciates the methods of peaceful negotiations, adopted by Armenia in the Caucasus and by Serbia in the Balkans. "Only through peaceful means, through peaceful negotiations a lasting solution to the conflict can be achieved," he said.
