Ruben Hakhverdyan predicts clan war for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia suffers from absence of intelligentsia, according to well-known singer poet Ruben Hakhverdyan.

"So-called intellectuals who participate in various TV shows are just taking the opportunity," he told reporters today. "I prefer to donate money rather than spend it on apartments or cars. Once I maintained a dining hall for the poor during 6 months with the money I was paid for concerts."

The Armenian singer poet also predicted a 'clan war' between the sons of oligarchs in Armenia.
